ADMINISTRATIVE LAW

In numerous contexts today, clients’ rights are determined, at least in the first instance, before administrative agencies. We represent clients before such agencies, from the federal level down to local municipalities.

We have successfully represented clients in rulemaking and other quasi-legislative proceedings; in licensing, zoning and variance matters; in claims proceedings; and in other quasi-litigatory contexts. We understand the powers and limitations of such bodies, and while our lawyers are never afraid to engage in litigation, they appreciate that effective court review of an administrative decision usually requires effective representation before that body.
