APPEALS

We are experienced in taking appeals from erroneous trial court decisions, and in defending appeals where our clients have prevailed before the lower court.  Our lawyers have represented clients in three of the five districts of the Illinois Appellate Court; in the Illinois Supreme Court; and in the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit on many occasions.  We also are experienced in appealing bankruptcy court decisions to the federal district courts when necessary.  Terry Sharp and John Hundley have a combined total of nearly 40 published appellate decisions, and numerous additional appeals disposed of by unpublished orders.

When appropriate,  we engage co-counsel who concentrate in appeals to assist us in effectively representing our clients before appellate bodies.
